TCL One Drive

Usability testing with driving simulator

TCL, the world's third largest display manufacturer of phones, TVs, etc., were eager to move into the digital product space to augment their hardware line.

Project

They asked our design firm to tackle an exciting design challenge: create a smart driving assistant to cater to drivers' needs.

On Road Voice Prototype

Process

I led the team of designers to work with the TCL product team to set initial product and design strategy. We then used five day design sprints to design and build a voice controlled user interface for the driving experience. Our prototyping and user testing process ensured that the interface was easier and safer to navigate, even as we added additional features like parking assistance and music integration.
